ThermoFisher TSQ Quantiva LC/MS/MS
Our Dionex Ultimate 3000 UPLC is coupled with a Triple-Stage Quadrupole Mass Spectrometer (MSMS) and Diode Array Detector (DAD). It operates in both electrospray positive (ESI+) and negative (ESI-). This equipment offers excellent sensitivity, speed, and dynamic range, which are key for method development, validation and routine sample analysis, while being able to separate and quantify the most complex and challenging samples.
ThermoFisher Trace 1300 GC/MS
The Gas Chromatographs are connected to ISQTM Mass Spectrometers. These mass spectrometers have a mass range from 1.2-1100 u. This equipment boasts industry-leading high sensitivity for the detection, quantification, and identification of volatile and semi-volatile components based on their mass spectra, plus an extensive NIST Mass Spectral Library.
The systems are also equipped with:
- Static headspace analyzer and TriPlus RSH™ Autosampler for automated liquid and headspace injections
- Flame Ionization Detector (FID)
- Pyroprobe® 6150 Pyrolyzer with 6000 Series Autosampler
- CDS 7550S Thermal Desorption interfaced with Autosampler and Stand-Alone Concentrator.
High Resolution LC/MS/MS for accurate quantitation and identification of unknown compounds by resolving interferences in highly complex matrices. The system is loaded with Thermo Scientific™ Compound Discoverer™ software which offers a suite of tools for studies on metabolism, impurities, degradants, extractables and leachables. It simplifies data processing for complex data with its customizable node-based workflows, integrated compound identification capabilities, and statistical analysis. The software is connected to Thermo Scientific™ High-Resolution Accurate-Mass MS/MS Spectral m/z Cloud libraries for compound identification. The library is continually updated from the ever expanding m/z Cloud™ online repository and customized with lab-specific compounds and spectra.
ICP-MS is the premier technique for trace metals analysis in biological fluids, tissues, medical devices extracts, pharmaceutical products, etc. The system is based on Octopole Reaction System (ORS) technology, operating in Helium collision mode to remove interferences, and provide the highest level of performance, extreme sensitivity, and a wide order of analytical dynamic range even in complex matrices. This unit allows for a powerful analysis while maintaining flexibility, automation, and ease of use.
Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy
Nicolet IS10 Mid-Infrared FTIR Spectrometer with OMNIC Specta Material Characterization. FTIR is used to obtain an infrared spectrum of absorption or transmittance of a solid, liquid or gas for product identification or quantification. The FTIR spectrometer simultaneously collects high spectral resolution data over a wide spectral range. This confers a significant advantage over a dispersive spectrometer which measures intensity over a narrow range of wavelengths at a time.
XploRA PLUS Confocal Raman Microscope
Equipped with spectroscopic software suite, LabSpec6, for easy acquisition and analysis of Raman spectral data. The systems also have spectral libraries and an included database for particulate identification and characterization of data over a wide spectral range. This confers a significant advantage over a dispersive spectrometer which measures intensity over a narrow range of wavelengths.
